From Dr. Urbaniak:
“I am greatly passionate about providing treatment for various anxiety disorders (generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, specific phobia), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), as well as posttraumautic stress disorder (PTSD). I also enjoy providing treatment for insomnia. In my practice, I apply evidence-based treatments that I modify to the needs of individuals. I frequently utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness components in my treatment (as well as humor when appropriate). I heavily emphasize the importance of building a good collaborative relationship and trust as I recognize the difficult nature of some of the treatments.”
